In the animal body, there are about 360 points of acupuncture and at the Dr. Rute Matos Veterinary Centre we place needles and electrodes in these points. It is a very comfortable treatment for your dog and with the strength of the electric current adjusted as appropriate.

VETERINARY HOMEOPATHY
Veterinary homeopathy is a medical speciality recognised by the Veterinary Medical Council since 2000. This represents an alternative therapy whether applied preventively or to cure illnesses and behavioural disorders with the primary objective always being to re-establish the balance in the animal's health and well-being.
The homeopathic medicines do not intoxicate the animal’s organism and generate no side effects, veterinary doctors need to be specialists in veterinary homeopathy and the Dr. Rute Matos Veterinary Centre ensures such a specialist is available. Homeopathic veterinary medication can be administered in two ways: in sugar globules or injectable medication.
